I remember one of my mother's boyfriends bouncing me up and down on his knee holding a baseball in his hand and tossing it at me when I was 2 years old. That was 1975. He was watching the game on TV and the Red Sox were playing in the World Series. I found out later on in my life how important that game was to him. He had bet his salary on that game and lost his shirt...

Boston 4 - vs - St. Louis 0

Now that I have you interested in my story, it is all BULL! Just like the curse! Bbbbb...Babe. Bbbbb...Bucky. Bbbbb...Buckner. Bbbbb...Boone. Stuttering John was the only one missing from the den of lions that were ready to pounce on the Red Sox once things started to turn downhill! The only similarity is that they all begin with B, just like the word Bull! Now it is time for the Bbbbb...Boston Red Sox to forget their past and press on so that all of those great players can be rememberd for their deeds, and not the curse.

The Boston Red Sox beat the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2004 World Series 4-0. The Red Sox swept the Angels in the first round of the post-season playoffs and then were only 3 outs away from getting swept by the Yankees. The came back from an 0-3 series to take it to 7 games amidst chants of "1918". They took that game and the next three with them to the World Series. After those 4 drama filled games, the unstoppable Red Sox never trailed in any of the 4 games against the St. Louis Cardinals of which was a part of 8 straight wins in the post season. No other team has accomplished so much in the post season as the Red Sox have this year.

I've been back for about 3 weeks now and am now just getting enough free time to update my site. My trip back to the US was definately not what I expected. No matter how hard I try to do something, there is never the same effort put forth by any of the people I am trying to do "whatever" with. Is it worth the effort? YES. I must say it is always worth the effort I put forth no matter the outcome or how dissapointed I might feel. This is where I draw my strength from and eventually, it will rub off on my family. I arrived in The United States and met up with my college roommate and his wife in Rhode Island who took me in for 3 days. They are the greatest friends I could ever have in the world. We hung out and went to her parents house as I adjusted to the 12 hour time zone change. They then went up to New Hampshire with me for the 4th of July celebration. On that Monday, I rented a car in Boston and drove back to New Hampshire. I was hoping that one of my two sisters would come or my brother would come during that week, but nobody had made a plan. So, I went and did stuff I wanted/needed to do; shopping! shopping! and more shopping! New Hampshire has some great outlet shopping! I shopped till I dropped.... literally!

That weekend, I saw my brother and my sister who still live in New Hampshire. My sister Leslie, who lives in up-state New York, I did not see at all. I didn't get a chance to go there. My brother came for about 6 hours on a rainy day when he didn't have any work so I got to talk with him a lot. I hope he listened to what I said. My sister Linda stopped by and dropped her kids off and then went home. That didn't make me happy, but she is my sister and something is better than nothing. After the two week house rental was over, I wnet back down to Rhode Island again to say goodbye to my friends. That following Monday, we took a day trip to New York City where I got to see Ground Zero and lots of other places in NYC I haven't seen for a decade. (I lived on L.I. for a while after high-school). Not much happened after that really, so that is the end of my trip. (you can check out my Vacation Gallery too)

Since I've been back in Taiwan, I have been teaching summer classes. I am still at the same school I was at last year. It is truly a good school. I have 8 Senior I classes and 4 Junior I classes for the summer. The semster starts on September 1st after a 10 day mini-vacation after the end of the summer session. I look forward to having a great year again this year.

w00t~ 3... 2.. 1. Houston, we have lift off! Well patriots, ex-patriots, foreigners and locals alike: It is time for me, (Teacher Carl, Gunny_Snipes, Trouble), to embark on a voyage.... Knowing not the outcome nor the circumstances that surround the ordeal that I am about to encounter, I pursue in faith a positive attitude that I might greatly impact my family while I am with them. If I don't, I'll just use some duct-tape because I can fix anything with it.

Today was the day that God gave my sister Laura life and in the blink of an eye, he took her away from me. I know she's shining down on me from heaven with those eyes of grace and compassion that only she could shine on me with.

Just added a WebCam to my site. You can check it out HERE. I often get frustrated at the DRAMA involved in chat. All of the he said/she said stuff is often annoying and comes accross as immature lines of text typed by a child, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. I try my best to maintain a clear perspective of who I am chatting with as I do not know them personally, but time and time again, Chat_Drama prevails and causes a stir. I like to chat online to relax, have a few laughs with some friends, share files and enjoy myself. I don't take chat serious, so I have no reason to be involved in the drama that actually hurts people's feelings. View my WebCam when you chat with me. Not Online? Request it!

"No more Students, no more Books!". I bet my students are rejoicing too as I once did (no more teachers, no more books). Look at my Viator Gallery to see some pictures. It was a great year at Viator High School in Taichung, Taiwan, R.O.C.. It is the best school I've worked at to date. They've really taken care of me there. Best wishes go out to all of my students that I have taught English to this year. I hope all of you excel and grow. I also hope that you all have a great summer. I know that I will! I am leaving Taiwan on the 29th of June to go back to the US and visit my family. I've rented a house for two weeks in hopes that my family will visit me there. I will return in July to start summer school.

I was an extra in a TV commercial for fruity vegetable juice near Fong Le Park here in Taichung, Taiwan. Stars of the commercial were the Sisters Of Shiu, Barbie and Dee! Check out my Sisters of Shiu TV Commercial Gallery to view some pictures that I have. Please remember my copyright statement if you decide to view these pictures.

End of the school year is nearing. I am so glad I prepared a lot of my work ahead of time so I can be ready for what lies ahead.

Today was my mother's birthday. I know she's smiling down on me.

I've added a few links to the right for my students at St. Viator Catholic High School in Taichung, Taiwan, R.O.C. Download and print. Please ask your parents or your homeroom teacher to help you if you need it. Do not email me asking me to email it to you. I will not respond.

Another year has passed. It is time for a new begining. The only thing that remains a constant is change. This site is XHTML 1.0 and CSS 2 compliant now. I've learned a lot of stuff and have even started learning to code in VBScript.

May 31, 2003

I've updated a bit of the code to the site so that it is close to the w3c standard of coding. Now it looks the same in IE as it does in Mozilla and Opera. I also feel that every Saturday will be my Update and/or Event day for this main page.(closed a few Tags and revamped my Klient page)

May 24, 2003

Some small updates have been made to the site. I have added some banners to a few pages and am working on a javascript for a banner rotation for this main page. I am also working on the other pages as in adding a photo gallery script and writing a personal history.

After procrastinating for a very long time, I finally put this site together. This site is a compilation of all my different computer related talents and/or ventures. It is also a site that is 100% my work where the only help I have recieved has been in the form of an opinion. (If you can call that actual help). Comments or Suggestions? Please feel free to contact me about anything site related. User Beware: All e-mails will be posted here.
